Pre-production. |
This is the most crucial stage of any video production. It covers the concept work, scripting, location scouting, and most importantly the overall organisation and the planning of the entire video project. With proper planning by a dedicated producer, a video production will run smoothly, and will absorb the effects of unforseen problems as seamlessly as possible.
It is at this stage that all major decisions over the subsequent production and post-production are made. A well planned and researched production will deliver the right message, on time and on budget.
The final step in pre-production is to iron out a production schedule along with treatments, storyboards and colour work to ensure that the production process is as effective as possible. A storyboard artist will work closely with the client and producer until a robust visual framework for the video production emerges. |
